Overview

Blacklist is the selected-client suppression workspace. Manual tabs cover Domains, Emails, Unsubscribes, Phones, Ignored Inbox, and Undeliverable, while Meeting Suppression shows live read-only matches. Client users can add and import Domains and Emails after confirmation. Staff can also manage the remaining manual categories, remove entries, and download CSV exports. CSV imports map recognized columns for the active tab, normalize valid values, skip duplicate and malformed rows, and preview the first values before any write. Tabs load 50 recent rows at a time, and searches are paginated so older records remain available.

How to use this page

  1. Review automatic meeting suppression

Open Meeting Suppression to review live, read-only matches when the client setting is enabled. Each match identifies the company domain or normalized company name, the booked contact supporting it, contact status, and meeting timing. These derived matches are separate from manual blacklist records.

  2. Pick the type to manage

Use the tabs to choose Domains, Emails, Unsubscribes, Phones, Ignored Inbox, Undeliverable, or read-only Meeting Suppression. Each tab shows its own count. Choose the matching tab before importing a CSV so SalesHive validates the intended value type.

  3. Add one suppression value

Type the domain, email address, or phone number required by the active tab, add an optional reason, and select Add. SalesHive normalizes valid domains, emails, and phone numbers and refuses malformed values before saving. Client users can add selected-client Domains and Emails, while staff can manage their permitted manual tabs.

  4. Search or browse entries

Type in the search box and press Enter or select the search icon to find entries in the current tab. Select Clear search to return to the recent list. Results load 50 at a time. When more results are available, use Previous or Next beneath the table.

  5. Prepare a CSV for the active tab

Use a recognized value column for the active tab, such as domain, website, email, email address, phone, or phone number. A single-column file can also use its first column. Optional reason or source columns are kept when supported. If the file clearly belongs to another tab or has no recognized value column, SalesHive stops before saving and tells you to switch tabs or rename the column.

  6. Review and confirm the import

Select Import CSV and choose the file. The confirmation shows which columns were mapped, a preview of up to three normalized values, the valid-entry count, and how many invalid or duplicate rows will be skipped. Confirm only after checking the selected client and preview. Valid entries then run in 50-entry batches, with existing records skipped and matching-contact updates reported. Re-import the same file after an interruption to resume safely.

  7. Use staff-only export and removal controls

Staff can select Download CSV to export a manual tab's full list and can remove an individual entry after confirmation. Client users do not see export or removal actions, and cannot import or add other suppression categories.

Common questions

It is live protection derived from contacts in Meeting set or Meeting held. Company-owned domains appear as domain matches, while generic mailbox domains use a normalized company name. These are not manual blacklist rows.
No. Meeting Suppression is read-only. A derived match changes when its supporting meeting contact changes status or an authorized user turns off the setting.
Yes. Client users can add selected-client Domains and Emails, and can import those two types from CSV after confirmation.
SalesHive stops before saving if the active tab cannot recognize its required value column or the headers clearly describe another suppression type. Switch to the matching tab or rename the intended column, then import again.
The preview counts invalid rows and duplicates inside the file and skips them. Existing saved entries are also skipped during import. The final result separates existing duplicates, file duplicates, invalid rows, and matching contacts updated.
Re-import the same file. Existing entries are skipped, so the import can continue without creating duplicates.
No. The contact remains, but future outreach is suppressed until an authorized staff member removes the entry.
