Your account settings: theme for this browser and, for client portal accounts, a name profile plus secure passwordless email-code sign-in.

Overview

General Settings is your own account page. It shows who you are signed in as and your account type at a glance, and lets you set the app color theme for this browser. Client portal accounts can update the displayed name. Sign-in is protected with a one-time email code, so there is no password to create, change, or reset. SalesHive employees manage their profile through SalesHive sign-in, so only the Appearance control shows here.

How to use this page

  1. Review your account at a glance

    The overview band at the top shows the email you are signed in as, your account type (client portal account or SalesHive employee account), and your current theme. Use it to confirm you are in the right account before making changes.

  2. Update your profile (client portal only)

    If you sign in through the client portal, edit the name shown with your access and click Save profile. Your sign-in email is displayed but cannot be changed here. Contact your account manager if it needs to change.

  3. Set the appearance

    In the Appearance card, choose Light, Dark, or System. System follows your operating system setting and shows the light or dark mode it currently uses. If the OS changes while this tab is in the background, SalesHive rechecks the preference when the tab becomes visible or the browser regains focus. You can also click the theme icon in the top bar to cycle from Dark to Light to System, then back to Dark. Your preference is saved in this browser only.

  4. Understand secure sign-in (client portal only)

    Client portal sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email when you sign in from a new browser. No password is required. The Secure sign-in card confirms that email-code protection is enabled.

What the buttons do

Save profile
Saves your name. Client portal accounts only.
Light / Dark / System
Sets the app color scheme for this browser. System follows the current operating system preference and rechecks it when the tab or window returns.
Top bar theme icon
Cycles the saved preference from Dark to Light to System, then back to Dark. Hover to see the current and next choice.
Secure sign-in
Client portal accounts use a one-time email code instead of a password.

Common questions

You are signed in as a SalesHive employee. Employee profile details are managed through SalesHive sign-in, so only the theme control shows here. Client portal accounts see the Profile and Secure sign-in cards as well.
The theme is stored locally for the browser you set it in, so it applies across the app on this device but not on other devices or browsers. The Appearance card and the top bar theme icon stay in sync.
System follows your operating system light or dark setting. It switches when the OS preference changes and rechecks after the tab becomes visible or the browser regains focus, so a backgrounded page catches up when you return. The label shows the resolved mode.
